The Sextet is given their first preparations for war, Voldemort seeks allies, Draco makes two errors of judgement, and one member of the Sextet is lost.

Several students are killed. Others are expelled. This book covers the time of the start of school until the beginning of the yule break.

The second book is the prequel to the „To the Rescue“ series. DrT writes:

The story of Tabitha Spellman and the crew that come to fight Voldemort in 1980 and 1996

Largely the story of Tabitha Spellman is told from the time she is found on the Yasgol doorstep in 1968 to the time with the International Confederation in Britain in 1980 and 81.

To the Rescue consists of 6 books. One is a prequel an another is an alternative ending. The first scenes of „To the Rescue“ occur in the summer after the Triwizard Tournament. But the story itself begins on year later after „The Order of the Phoenix“. DrT writes:

Can the rest of the world stand aside and watch the British Ministry botch the handling of Voldemort a second time? The International, pushed by the Old Believers in the North American Confederation, joins in the battle, to the horror of Fudge and his faction and the anger of Voldemort. It will not be as easy as they hope, because everything still comes down to a lonely, scarred teenager named Harry Potter, who is reaching out to a friend.

A group from the International Confederation, who fought back in 1980 and 81 take over the ministry and help Harry and some of his friends with some training. The first book covers the summer until the start of school.
The Romantic pairing are: Harry and Luna, Ron and Hermione and Ginny and Neville.

Harry and Hermione Pt. III — Finishing their Sixth Year and Into the Summer is the final installment of the trilogy. The Prequel is Harry and Hermione — Their Sixth Year. The book starts in January and finishes in August. There is also an Epilogue for the year 2004. DrT writes:

A strange dance, Dursleys, Grangers, vampires, elves, and Voldemort — Harry and Hermione have a lot on their mind this spring and summer, especially when the Dark Lord issues a challenge Harry cannot ignore.

The vampire Cassandra is introduced. There is an attack on the school on valentines day – the students have masked ball while the school is breached. On easter Grimauld Place is attaced. Free elfs become an issue thereafter. In the summer holyday there is some training for the final show down on 20th august. Voldemort dies and Harry is no longer alive.

Harry and Hermione — Their Sixth Year is the second installment of three books. Its prequel is Harry and Hermione Start their Sixth Year. It covers the time from autumn until after the yule break. DrT writes about it:

Part 2 of my Harry and Hermione series, covering late October through early January. Voldemort crashes a party, house elves abound, Hermione meets the Dursleys, and of course the Halloween season isn’t as much fun as it should be.

They spend the christmas at Grimauld Place. Snape and Malfoy get gutted on christmas eve because they won’t follow a halfblood. There is also an interesting inheritage.
